D, thanks for introducing me to this amazing three-bean salad. I used to turn
my nose up at it, but now I can't get enough of it.
"Ingredients:
- 1 can (15.5 oz) of drained
garbanzo beans
- 1 can (14.5 oz) of drained kidney
beans
- 1 can (14.5 oz) of drained black
beans
- 1 can (14.5 oz) of drained green
beans
- 1 can (14.5 oz) of drained wax
beans
- 1/2 cup of chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- 1/2 cup of chopped celery
- 3/4 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of salad oil
- 1/2 cup of vinegar
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of ground black
pepper."
"Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix
together garbanzo beans, kidney beans, black beans, green beans, wax beans,
green pepper, onion, and celery.
2. In a separate bowl,
whisk together sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper until the sugar is
dissolved.
3. Pour the mixture over
the bean mixture and stir until combined.
4. Chill the salad in the
refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight before serving."
